REVISITED: British Airways 777 Barbados takeoff to London Gatwick

REVISITED: British Airways 777 Barbados takeoff to London Gatwick Video Clips. Duration : 11.00 Mins.

This was an opportunity to remake my original video: www.youtube.com in full HD. The video culminates in the takeoff and climb out over the Atlantic of the BA2154 service from Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. The video opens with a view of the Airport forecourt . Please be aware there is no sound for the first 51 seconds of the video - I have intentionally muted the sound during the first 2 segments due to the wind noise. This time around I tried out the BA premium check-in & lounge in the IAM Jet Centre, which is a short distance away from the main terminal building. The next scene shows the short drive from the Jet Centre to the steps of the aircraft towards the end of boarding. The aircraft is a Boeing 777-236 powered by General Electric GE90-85B turbo-fan engines. Its registration is G-VIIA. I used a Panasonic HDC-HS300 3ccd semi-pro camcorder to record the takeoff scene. All other scenes were recorded with a Lumix TZ10. The HS300 did a very good job of capturing the takeoff. One thing I woud do differently next time around is to use a circular polarizing filter to reduce the glare of the sunlight after the turn At this time of year (October) the position of the sun means that the island is in silhouette after the turn as we fly into the beginnings of a beautiful sunset. If you wish to see a slightly higher quality version of the takeoff scene then please view: www.youtube.com Hope you enjoy! It was nice to hear the whine of the GE90 engines again.
