iO Tillett Wright at TEDxWomen 2012 Video Clips. Duration : 19.95 Mins.

iO Tillett Wright talks about her project, Self Evident Truths, a photographic exploration of the complexities of identity and of the everyday people who don't fit into neat LGBTQ categories. She is an artist who focuses on the leading margins of contemporary life and culture; her photography is regularly featured on two blogs at the New York Times: "Notes from the Underground" and "The Lowdown." TEDxWomen was curated and produced by The Paley Center for Media. In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
