Emily Bazelon talks about the different ways autism affects girls and boys, and the empathy deficit young girls with autism often experience. She is the author of Sticks and Stones, a book about the dynamics of bullying. TEDxWomen was curated and produced by The Paley Center for Media. In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
