Accepted Islam in 1994 and traveled to Sudan to study Islam. Relocated to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to study Quraan, Tajweed, and the Arabic language. Was accepted into the Islamic University of Madinah and enrolled into the Arabic Institute and then graduated from the faculty of Da'wah and Usool Ad Deen. Pieter Kubben ( @DigNeurosurgeon ) is a medical doctor from the Netherlands. He is a senior resident in neurosurgery at the Maastricht University Medical Center, and performs a PhD thesis on glioma surgery with intraoperative MRI. As a hobby (his term), he is developing software for mobile computing and clinical decision support, for which he won several international awards. In 2010 he released three medical iPhone apps, and became information technology editor of the open-access journal Surgical Neurology International. One of his apps, called NeuroMind, became the #1 ranked app for neurosurgery in the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It has been mentioned in the widely cited "Top 10″ on iMedicalApps.com, and is also available for Android.
