S. George Djorgovski is a Professor of Astronomy and a Co-Director of the Center for Advanced Computing Research at Caltech, and the Director of the Meta-Institute for Computational Astrophsics, the first professional scientific organization based in virtual worlds. He received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 1985, was a Harvard Junior Fellow, and joined the Caltech faculty in 1987. Among his honors, he was an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow, a Presidential Young Investigator and, having authored or coauthored several hundred scientific publications; he was among the Institute for Scientific Information's 1000 most cited physicists. George is one of the founders of the Virtual Observatory framework and the emerging field of AstroInformatics, and he chaired the US National Virtual Observatory Scientific Definition Team. Among his many current interests are development of methodologies for a computationally enabled, data-intensive science for the 21st century, and exploration of observable parameter spaces with digital sky surveys. Onye Ozuzu, Chair of Columbia College Chicago's Dance Center, is a performing artist, choreographer, educator and administrator. Her work has been notable for its balance of visionary and practical progress in the arenas of curricular, artistic and community development of diversity, collaboration and interdisciplinary performance arts. Her work has been seen at The Joyce Soho (New York, NY), Kaay Fecc Festival De Toutes les Danses (Dakar, Senegal), Lisner Auditorium (Washington, DC), McKenna Museum of African American Art (New Orleans), and many locations worldwide. She was a 2010 recipient of the Innovative Seed Grant, University of Colorado's most prestigious research grant, for her ethnographic research project ADADIA African Drum and Dance in America: the Oral History Archive.
