Now, two iterations later, the Shark Evoline 2 ST Helmet has addressed issues from previous models and is now prepared to integrate with the Sharktooth Bluetooth Communication System, with cutouts for the battery and speakers of the system. At its core, the Evoline 2 ST is an injected thermoplastic resin shell with a multi-component shock absorbing EPS that has different densities. The external visor is anti-scratch and demisting, featuring 9 detents and an improved ratcheting system over older models. There is better sealing against the wind and rain via hermetically sealed edges and the neck & side covers gained 1cm in width for a quieter ride and improved weatherproofing. The mechanism of the chinbar is stainless steel and built onto an elliptical hinge which allows it to wrap to the back of the head maintaining aerodynamics and comfortable weight distribution when riding open face. The interior is Meryl, which is antimicrobial and moisture wicking, and is completely removable and washable. This helmet changed the game a few years back and the newest version features even more improvements over previous models.
